2014 - International Year of Crystallography - IYCR2014


The International Year of Crystallography was officially launched this week at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France.

The year-long celebration aims to strengthen international collaboration and increase public awareness of crystallography with a series of conferences, exhibitions and educational activities taking place throughout 2014.

New Web of Science - webinar training for researchers




The new Web of Science interface is now live. 

It provides a simpler look with more intuitive searching.

You are invited to register for a training webinar.  Learn how to navigate this new search and discovery environment — now branded under the Web of Science banner — and to hear more about the indices that now comprise the Web of Science Core Collection. 

The webinar will also demonstrate the: 
  • Updated user interface: Clear identification of the database searched with an easier-to-get- started search tool and simplified navigation. 
  • Improved page layout and readability of search results: Easier links to full-text. 
  • New layout of full record data elements for easier readability: Improved organization of links to related research.
