For researchers and authors - new Web of Science update to include ORCID & ResearcherID integration

A new update to Web of Science was released on Sunday July 26, 2015.

In this release, Web of Science incorporates author identifiers for researchers who established an ORCID but not a ResearcherID. Inclusion of ORCIDs from these authors adds an estimated 90,000 unique ORCIDs to Web of Science across more than 1.5 million records. Furthermore, new ORCID information will be updated in Web of Science every month via data feed from ORCID. This delivers improved workflow support for authors, research managers, and publishers who are increasingly making use of ORCID.
