Google (IoT) Technology Research Award Pilot - deadline 29th February 2016

The Google Research Team have recently launched the Google Internet of Things (IoT) Technology Research Award Pilot. 

"This pilot provides selected researchers in-kind gifts of Google IoT related technologies with the goal of fostering collaboration with the academic community on small-scale (~4-8 week) experiments, discovering what they can do with our software and devices."

The same eligibility conditions as for the Faculty Research Award Program apply - see here.

Calling all makers, educators, technologists etc. - DublinMaker open call is now live!

Dublin Maker will be held on July 25th, 2015 on the grounds of Trinity College Dublin. It is a free to attend, family friendly and community driven event.

Dublin Maker takes the form of a “show and tell” experience where inventors/makers sourced through an open call, will have an opportunity to showcase their creations at individual booths in a carnival atmosphere. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
